What is Frequency Therapy?
Frequency Therapy, or Bio-Tuning®, uses state-of-the-art technology to aid in de-stressing and removing tension that we hold in our bodies. The particular system used at Abundance Within is the same system that was developed by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, founder of Skye Lounge in Carlsbad, CA. This sound therapy technique combines science, technology and the ancient practice and wisdom of sound healing to take people on a journey leading them towards profound peace and rejuvenation.
This technology is designed to tune a person’s body and mind to their natural frequencies, facilitating a deep state of relaxation and healing. Each participant is guided through an innovative Bio-tuning® process that utilizes real-time Heart Rate Variability (HRV) analysis to monitor how their body responds to the frequency during the session. This is a non-invasive process where small electrodes are placed on the wrists to measure the participant’s HRV. With this data, we can hone in on the frequency unique to the participant when their Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is in homeostasis, a state of equilibrium between the body’s fight-and-flight response and the rest-and-digest response. Their personal frequency, or Biotone™, is used as the basis for a series of customized sound tracks crafted to resonate specifically with their body. By synchronizing brainwaves to specific frequencies through sound, this therapy aims to induce states of relaxation or focus, aiding in stress reduction and emotional regulation.
Frequency Therapy
Is Not
a replacement for Western forms of medicine or mental health therapies. If you are physically ill or having a mental health emergency, contact your doctor or therapist immediately for help. Frequency Therapy can support you during times when you are receiving healing and therapy from your licensed professional healthcare providers, but is in no way a replacement for these professional services. It is a “complementary” therapy that can be integrated alongside all other medical and therapeutic techniques for your health and wellbeing on a physical, emotional, mental, and energetic/spiritual level.
Sessions
All Frequency Therapy sessions at Abundance Within wellness studio take place while reclining in the NeuroWave™ Chair that features two “floating” sounding boards in a precise left and right stereo configuration. These sounding boards are constructed of a resonance material that was specifically developed to amplify vibrational frequencies as they course through your body, leading to an intensified healing experience. The chair’s NASA-designed, ergonomic seat curvature aligns perfectly with the body’s form, ensuring a comfortable and restful session every time. The reclining angle creates a “Zero-Stress Point” for enhancing your experience while listening to the curated soundtracks, promoting brain hemisphere synchronicity with your body.
Cancellation Policy
Sessions are by appointment only. It is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate last minute or same day sessions, so please book at least 48 hours in advance.
There is a firm 24-hour cancellation policy. If something happens to prevent you from making your appointment, please reschedule it as soon as possible. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged a fee of $125 for Biotone™ Assessment, Next Sessions, and Check-Up sessions or the entire cost of a Listening Session. As a small business, late cancellations and no-shows prevent us from being able to open that space up for someone else’s healing and can have a detrimental financial impact on the studio.
A deposit by credit card is required to reserve your session and to implement the cancellation policy when needed, but you may use a different payment method for the remainder of the session fee on the day of your appointment.
