How Does Crystal Therapy Work?
Crystals work with your own energy to support your overall wellbeing. Crystals can increase energy or calm it down as needed, boost creativity, amplify intuitive skills, support the balance of emotional energy, encourage relaxation, and hold space for emotional release. Crystal therapy can take on many different forms or styles, depending on personal preference. It can be very subtle and the energy of the crystals will continue to unfold during the days following your session.
Crystal Therapy Isn’t
a replacement for Western forms of medicine or mental health therapies. If you are physically ill or having a mental health emergency, contact your doctor or therapist immediately for help. Crystal Therapy can hold space and support you during times when you are receiving healing and therapy from your licensed professional healthcare providers, but is in no way a replacement for these professional services. It is a “complementary” therapy that can be integrated alongside all other medical and therapeutic techniques for your health and wellbeing on a physical, emotional, mental, and energetic/spiritual level.
Sessions
In all sessions the body is treated as a whole with extended focus to particular areas of concern or interest. There will be a consultation before each session to determine what the areas of focus will be and how to address those areas based on a color-theory approach. All crystals will be programmed to work specifically for your needs. Crystals will be placed on and around the body in four different “stages”: Ground and Center, Restore, Activate, and round out the session with more Grounding. Crystal Therapy sessions can take place in person or virtual via Zoom. All sessions are customized to your needs at the time of the appointment. Because of this, no two sessions will be alike. There is no “one-size fits all” in life. Your session will support what you need for your highest good.
What to Expect
Crystals have a healing energy that can easily pass through layers of clothing, casts, and splints. Because of this, clients remain fully dressed, but I do ask that shoes be removed and left near the studio door when visiting in person. Socks and bare feet are welcome. Clients will most often lay on their back upon the therapy table, but for those that find this position uncomfortable, the client may lay on their side or stomach. Sitting in a reclining chair is another option. Blankets and cushions are available for added comfort. Crystals will be placed on and around the client’s body, but never on personal or sensitive areas of the body.
Everyone experiences crystal energy differently, depending on how sensitive they are to energy. People that are sensitive to energy may experience the crystals energy as a tingling sensation, as heat or as cold, as a pulse, as a wave. Some people don’t feel it at all. Some fall asleep. Crystal therapy sessions can occasionally bring up deep emotions for people as well. Tears are common and welcome as a great way to release stagnant, unwanted energy that people have stored in the auric field or within the body.
This is a safe space for you on healing journey and EVERYONE is welcome. No judgement here. Tissues will be provided.
Cancellation Policy
Sessions are by appointment only. We are unable to accommodate last minute or same day sessions, so please book at least 48 hours in advance.
We do have a firm 24-hour cancellation policy. If something happens to prevent you from making your appointment, please reschedule it as soon as possible. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged a fee equal to the cost of your missed appointment. As a small business, late cancellations and no-shows prevent us from being able to open that space up for someone else’s healing and can have a detrimental financial impact on the studio.
We require a credit card to reserve your session and to implement our cancellation policy when needed, but you may use a different payment method on the day of your appointment.
For virtual sessions, Zoom details will be sent in a reminder email 12 to 18 hours before your appointment time. Please ensure that info@AbundanceWithin.com is added to your contact list so the email doesn’t end up in your spam folder.
